Professional Experience

02/2011 - the present

Job Title:The Exhibit Artist
Company:Creative Arts Unlimited Inc.
3730 70th Ave N
Pinellas Park, FL 33781
Job Description:At this point in my development, all of my artistic trades are coming into use at one place. As the exhibit artist for Creative Arts, I became the first full time (and fully employed) artist they've had in quite some time. This is because I can fill their sculpting, air-brushing, clay modeling, faux painting, mold making and installation needs almost completely on my own.

As I write this, I'm jumping back and forth between metallic paint samples that will become thousands of feet of paint coverage in a mall, sculpting a six foot low-poly alligator snapping turtle for a children's area, installing fossils into a dirt mound ( I've sculpted ) for a wildlife museum in Central Florida, and recreating the gigantic sinkhole at the Corvette Museum in Tennessee [ in foam ]... As their priorities change, I redirect my effort into the project that requires my help the most to move forward... ( Of course, you can see images of the mentioned work at www.BradleyNewman.net )

Whether it's a realistic animal sculpts or Disney like cartoons, I shift to create what Creative Arts needs.

...And sometimes they need a guy to help build walls, do sanding and body work, make deliveries and pickups, load trucks or just plane sweep up the shop. I've got a solid set of tools and a strong back and I'm glad to jump in and help keep the operation moving. That includes working all the late hours necessary sometimes to make that happen.

...I'm really gonna miss this job.
